Student Code of Conduct

Every student is expected to uphold the values and discipline of the institution. This code outlines the rights, responsibilities, and conduct expected of all learners.

Discipline & Integrity Respect & Responsibility Academic Excellence

General Conduct

  • Discipline: Maintain discipline inside and outside the college campus.
  • Respect: Show respect to teachers, staff, and fellow students.
  • Punctuality: Be punctual and regular in attending classes.
  • Uniform: Wear the prescribed college uniform/ID card.
  • Property: Take care of college property and equipment.
  • Environment: Keep the campus clean and green.

Academic Conduct

  • Attendance: Maintain minimum attendance as per university norms.
  • Assignments: Submit assignments and projects on time.
  • Examinations: Follow examination rules and avoid malpractice.
  • Library: Follow library rules and return books on time.
  • Academic Integrity: Avoid plagiarism and maintain academic honesty.
  • Feedback: Provide constructive feedback for improvement.

Prohibited Activities

  • Ragging: Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited.
  • Substance Abuse: Use of alcohol, drugs, or tobacco is banned.
  • Misconduct: Indiscipline, violence, or harassment is not tolerated.
  • Damage: Damaging college property or graffiti is prohibited.
  • Disruption: Disrupting academic or administrative activities is banned.
  • Fake Documents: Submitting false information or documents is a punishable offense.

Rights & Responsibilities

  • Right to Education: Every student has the right to quality education.
  • Right to Expression: Express views respectfully and constructively.
  • Right to Grievance: Lodge complaints without fear of victimization.
  • Responsibility: Uphold the reputation of the institution.
  • Participation: Actively participate in co-curricular activities.
  • Community: Contribute positively to the college community.

All students are expected to abide by the Student Code of Conduct. Violations may lead to disciplinary action as per the rules and regulations of the college and the affiliating university.
